To run commands, type them into the console and hit enter/return on your keyboard. For more help using the L4D2 console, see our Left 4 Dead 2 Console Guide. Some commands require sv_cheats to be set to 1 in order to work - these are indicated with the sv_cheats tag in their description. Commands that have a default value are also indicated
I once downloaded a simple white crosshair mod where I typed in console "crosshair 0" right? Well, I don't exactly know what happened but for some reason the mod stopped working and now my crosshair is permanently stuck as a really dim version of the base crosshair that you can't see outside of dark areas.
cam_command // Tells camera to change modes ; cam_idealdelta " 4" // Controls the speed when matching offset to ideal angles in thirdperson view ; cam_idealdist " 150" cam_ideallag " 4" // Amount of lag used when matching offset to ideal angles in thirdperson view
It's the ~ button on the top left corner of your keyboard, under the 'esc' button. When you open console, you can type 'sb_takecontrol zoey' (or 'sb_takecontrol rochelle') without the ' ' and you will take control of Zoey. (or Rochelle) HOWEVER - Keep in mind to do this, you must be playing with sv_cheats 1.
